“Making health accessible is, above all, about addressing the social challenges faces by the people we aim to assist.”
Abdelaali El Badaoui
President of Banlieues Santé
We collaborate with numerous local partners to strenthen access to health services and rights for everyone.
We work to enhance the individual and collective skills of women to reduce inequalities.
We intervene in the priority districts of the city policy alongside hundereds of local associations to address daily challenges and transform the social response.
Banlieues Santé wouldn’t be Banlieues Santé without hyper-local associations. These small associations, composed of volunteers and with limited resources, are dedicated to daily engagement in extensive grassroots work.
They include women’s collectives, tenant associations, sports clubs, and educational support groups. These associations possess in-depth knowledge of their neighborhoods and build trusted relationships with individual distant from healthcare pathways. They serve as both the starting and ending points for all our projects.
Banlieues Santé is affiliated with over 300 local associations across 4 regions.
